Vercelli, Piedmont, Italy
Vercelli (Italian: Provincia di Vercelli) is a province in the Piedmont region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Vercelli.
It has an area of 2,088 sq.km, and a total population of 176,829 (2001). There are 86 communes in the province.
In 2003, the Sacred Mountain of Varallo was added by UNESCO to the World Heritage List.
