The whole artistic complex consists of several buildings arranged in a “U” shaped layout around a spacious inner garden with the 18th Century Dominican building facing south. Beautiful and typical of the composition are the highly glazed volumes and the arcaded porches supported by tuff pillars, which harmoniously fit into the surrounding countryside.
The western side is embellished with the Bower and a splendid richly furnished 18th Century Oratory.
Together the furnishings, the decor and the colours evoke the neo-classical style that reconciles a taste for comfort, grace and refinement with the nobility and simple beauty of antiquity.
Among the materials used for the interiors of Villa del Quar, wood, terracotta tiles and Venetian floors prevail. The furniture is antique and the colours, typical of Venetian art, combine gold with blue or red with green.
